Our Outreach

What We Do

QCCA doesn’t just deliver services and activities. We’re a major local stakeholder, helping to connect everyone in our community with the rest of the borough.

Our outreach is vital because we work in Camden’s single most deprived neighbourhood, where many people don’t have a voice. Our older people are in the bottom 3% for deprivation across England and our young people are in the bottom 6% according to the Department of Communities and Local Government (DCLG)’s most recent Indices of Social Deprivation, 2019.

How We Help

We build relationships with the entire community, from our local MP Sir Keir Starmer to the chief executive of Camden Council and the parents of children caught up in gang crime.

We have excellent relationships with referral partners across the borough, from police to the NHS, faith leaders and other local charities.

Councillors hold regular surgeries here. Our hall is available free of charge for community issues and we’ve hosted meetings about planning applications, pedestrianisation and gang-related deaths.

CEO Foyezur Miah is also co-founder and treasurer of the C4 consortium of 19 Camden community centres.
