Our Stories

North London staff from UK-wide Hawkey Cleaning Services wanted to give something back to the local community in 2024. They approached us for volunteering opportunities and the idea for ‘The Great Queen’s Crescent Clean Up’ was born.

A team of around ten Hawkey volunteers came for an afternoon, joining QCCA staff and local residents, who had heard about the event through our outreach. The team was big enough to clean up not just the area around the centre, but the streets off it as well.

Commercial manager Ethan said: ‘It was a brilliant day. The team really enjoyed getting involved and helping to make a positive difference to the local area. It was great to connect with the QCCA team and local residents — we’d definitely be up for doing it again!’
