Meet The Team

Foyezur started his QCCA journey growing up in Gospel Oak. He joined the organization as a volunteer, worked his way up and in 2005 became QCCA’s CEO.

Foyezur has led the growth of the charity, from an annual turnover of £280,000 and a team of five staff in a single site at the Ashdown Crescent community centre, to currently generating over £1m, and employing 33 staff, over five different facilities.

Over the past decade, he has built extensive partnerships in the local community and beyond, galvanising local people towards a central goal of rejuvenating the surrounding communities’ quality of life and standard of living.

Mary started working for QCCA in May 2018. Previously, she worked for Mind Yourself, an Irish charity running a programme of activities to support the London Irish community, and for the Hammersmith and Fulham Volunteer Centre managing a project to support young disabled people in partnership with Action on Disability. She also has over ten years' experience of teaching ESOL and has written and illustrated teaching materials, such as 'The New East Enders' for Gatehouse Media. She originally trained as an artist and designer and still paints and exhibits her work.

​Mark started working at QCCA in 2023. He is a level 2 Football Association coach and has a masters degree in business management in sport. With experience in adult and youth coaching, Mark has a passion to promote the exploration of recreational and competitive sport alongside education within sport. 

Naomi Gélinas began as Youth Services Manager with GOAL YC in October of 2023. Naomi has accumulated a wealth of knowledge and experience working in the sector of supporting youth rights and youth wellbeing through the power of the voluntary and community sector for over 5 years. Originally from Canada, Naomi has worked across a variety of communities leading programming producing grassroots and personalised developments in educational attainment, general literacy and numeracy, and participation and rights-building for children, youth, and young adults. Naomi came to the UK to obtain her Master’s in Social Development Practice at University College London, furthering her passion for the work, and building key knowledge and skills for the YSM position.
